Russian experts told satellite news agency on the eve of the opening of the Russian international aerospace industry that Chinese aviation manufacturing companies have entered the forefront of the world.
The Zhukovsky Airport in the outskirts of Moscow will host the International Aerospace Exhibition from August 27th to September 1st, and China will become the partner of the exhibition for the first time. China's booth covers an area of 3,000 square meters. More than 20 companies including COMAC, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation and AVIC Composites Co., Ltd. will participate in more than all countries. The CR929 wide-body passenger aircraft prototype jointly developed by COMAC and UAC will be placed in a separate booth.

Victor Fiordorov, director of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, School of Engineering, Southern Ural National University, believes: "Chinese aviation manufacturing companies have actually entered the forefront of the world and are actively developing technologies related to aero-engine design and production. China has reached Canada. And the level of Brazil, and Embraer is no longer an opponent of the Chinese aviation industry."
Sergei Ishkov, dean of the Rocket Aerospace Technology Institute of the National University of Samara, Russia, believes that Russia-China cooperation in the field of civil aviation manufacturing is beneficial to Russia.
